These terms govern your use of featureandfit.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Acceptance of these terms

Feature and Fit is published by KCS Global Group, a company registered in India with its office at 2nd Floor, Shop No. 22, 19/22, Maitri Nagar, Risali – 490006, District Durg, Chhattisgarh, India. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean KCS Global Group, and “you” means anyone accessing the site.

By visiting, reading, downloading from or otherwise using featureandfit.com, you agree to these terms, to our Privacy policy, and to our Disclaimer. Read all three. They work together and each one limits what you can expect from the other.

2. Who may use this site

This site is intended for adults researching vehicle purchases. You may use it if you are at least 18 years old, or if you are between 13 and 18 and a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

You are responsible for making sure that using this site is lawful where you live.

3. What this site is

Feature and Fit publishes vehicle specification, dimension, capacity and fitment data for the United States market, compiled from manufacturer documentation and public federal records. Our method is set out in How we source spec data.

It is reference information, published in good faith and checked carefully. It is not a substitute for the build sheet, window sticker, order guide or owner’s manual for a specific vehicle, and it is not professional, mechanical, financial or legal advice.

4. No affiliation with manufacturers

We are an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorised by or in any way officially connected to Ford Motor Company or any other vehicle manufacturer, dealer, distributor or parts supplier.

Manufacturer names, model names, trim names, logos and other marks that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to identify and describe the vehicles we write about, which is a descriptive and nominative use. No claim of ownership over any third-party mark is intended or implied.

If you represent a rights holder and believe a mark has been used improperly on this site, write to info@featureandfit.com and we will look at it promptly.

5. Our content and your rights to use it

The articles, specification tables, comparisons, explanations, page layouts, design, code and compilation of data on this site are our work, and are protected by copyright and database rights. The underlying factual figures are not owned by anyone, but the way we research, select, verify, arrange and present them is.

Here is what you may and may not do without asking us:

6. Scraping, republishing and automated access

Aggregated specification data of poor quality is the problem this site exists to solve, so we take its reuse seriously. You agree not to:

• Use crawlers, scrapers, bots or any automated means to extract content or data from this site, except for search engine crawlers obeying our robots.txt file
• Systematically download, copy or store our specification tables, whether by hand or by machine
• Reproduce our content on another website, in an app, or in printed material without written permission
• Present our data as your own work, or strip our attribution from it
• Use the site or its content to train, fine-tune or ground a machine learning or generative AI system, which we expressly reserve our rights against under applicable text and data mining law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system
• Interfere with the site’s operation, including by overloading it, probing it, or introducing malicious code
• Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes anyone’s rights

We monitor for these and may block access without notice where we find them.

7. Comments and things you send us

If you post a comment, send us a correction, or otherwise submit material to us, you remain the owner of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish that material in connection with the site, including quoting a correction in a published note.

You confirm that anything you send is yours to send, is accurate as far as you know, and does not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law. We may edit, decline or remove any submission for any reason, and we are not obliged to publish or respond to anything.

Sending us a specification correction does not create any payment obligation, employment relationship or partnership between us. We welcome corrections and we act on them, but they are given freely. How we handle them is described in our Editorial policy.

8. Third-party links and advertising

This site links to external sites, including manufacturer media centres, federal databases and other publications. We link to them because they are useful, not because we control them. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their availability or their privacy practices. Once you follow a link away from here, their terms apply, not ours.

The site carries display advertising served by third parties. We do not select the individual ads shown to you and we do not endorse the products or services they promote. How advertising data is handled is explained in our Privacy policy.

9. Affiliate relationships

Some links on this site are affiliate links, which may earn us a commission if you buy something. This costs you nothing extra and does not affect what we publish or which vehicles we cover. Our full position is in the Affiliate disclosure.

10. No warranties

The site and everything on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, that the site is free of harmful components, or that any specification, figure or statement on it is complete, current or accurate. We work hard at accuracy and we correct errors when we find them, but we cannot guarantee it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither KCS Global Group nor its directors, employees, contributors or agents will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of this site or your reliance on anything published on it.

This includes, without limitation, any loss arising from a purchase decision, a towing or loading decision, a parts or accessory purchase, a modification, or any other action taken on the basis of a specification published here.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms affects rights you have that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KCS Global Group and the people working for it against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of anyone’s rights through your use of the site.

13. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, restrict or discontinue the site or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may add, revise, correct or remove articles and specification data at any time. We are not liable to you or anyone else for doing so.

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uptime. Hosting, maintenance and circumstances outside our control can all interrupt it.

14. Blocking access

We may block or restrict your access to the site, without notice and at our discretion, if we believe you have breached these terms — in particular the restrictions in section 6. Sections dealing with intellectual property, warranties, liability, indemnity and governing law survive any such block.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Durg, Chhattisgarh, India, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of this site, and you agree to submit to that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement.

16. General provisions

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

These terms, together with our Privacy policy, Disclaimer and Affiliate disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site, and replace any earlier understanding. You may not assign your rights under them. We may assign ours in connection with a transfer of the business.

17. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and the revised terms take effect when published here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
